My Dodge Shadow appeared out of necessity, having run my parent's Olds Cutlass Cierra right into the ground in the spring on 1997. Previously used as a fleet car for a rental company it had about 12,000 miles. Pretty good for a 3 year old car. I, of course, got taken - paying only a few hundred less than it's original list price. What can I say, it was my first car buying experience. But over-all I have no complaints about my Shadow. It has run very well for me.
