JM Notes:

Watch your Arching during freefall.
Can open your canopy later.
Good PLS

Personal Notes:

45 Seconds is too short a time.

Well, my last jump of the series and I missed it as soon as I got my canopy open. 45 seconds of free fall doesn't seem at all like enough time as the wind whips past you and you reach close to terminal velocity. It seemed like I only took two or three breaths before I looked at my altimiter and judged it was time to open. It really was too early but I didn't care so much, it gave me a chance to fly the wind a bit.

Can I sum up the experience? I think I missed having someone to share it with. But at the same time, I don't really think I ever would have done it if I'd waited for that opportunity. Some things in life you just have to go out and DO!

Skydiving has to be the highlight of my life! An experience beyond description. Even now, I can tell the world about the mechanics, but to say I felt this ... or that ... I can't say. I hope that it would be different for everyone.

I do hope to jump again. Next time though with friends. It was well worth the money, just on the ragged edge of excitement, and, I think, qualified as one of the not-to-be-missed experiences.
